On Tuesdays and Thursdays, my daughter has preschool from 9am until 11:30. While she’s in preschool on Tuesdays, I take my son to his Music Together class and then we do a Target run until it is time to pick up his sister (today, we threw in a drive in the country because he was not being a happy shopper and I had to get out of Target as soon as I could…then we had time to spare before pre-school pick up time). When we get home, I make lunch for everyone, which now involves 3 different meals. My daughter only wants to eat grilled cheese, my son will only eat “peanut butter” (it’s really almond butter, but they’ll only eat it if we call it peanut butter) and I usually eat a salad at lunch. Once that is all done, I get the kids down for a nap and I either try to catch a nap myself or I catch up on things around the house. Then, after the kids wake up for their nap, I get them ready for my daughter’s swimming lesson. We get home from that about 6pm, then it is dinner and then about bed time.
What I’m trying to say is that Tuesdays, especially, tire me out. I guess you could say that Tuesdays are my Mondays (well, my DMV-less Mondays). In fact, I usually take Tuesdays as rest days…but not today! Yessiree! I got out and did a 45 minute Ellen Barrett workout and I feel great…and, well, tired.
Wednesdays are usually easier days for me, but tomorrow is going to be busy. I need to take the kids in to get haircuts in the morning, we have a playdate in the afternoon and I’m seeing my therapist in the evening. Oh, and I need to find time for a workout in there somewhere. Sigh! Is it Friday yet?
I’d write more, but I’d better get some sleep….or else!
Here’s a reminder for myself:

good luck with your busy Wednesday! Rock it!
